​Pediatric medical devices treat or diagnose diseases and conditions from birth through age 21. The Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act) defines pediatric patients as persons aged 21 or younger at the time of their diagnosis or treatment.

Alpha Research Center participates in pediatric trials after rigorous review of the study and protocol to ensure the best care and safety measures are in place for our children. We know medical technology and new treatments can only be discovered through study trials, but we are committed to patient safety first.
